The Wolfsberg Heimatstub’n was founded in 2006. Our motto is ‘local life of the past vs. today’.
During guided tours (in German and Romanian languages) you will learn about Wolfsberg’s history, the German influence, and the traditional style of living in this remote mountain town. Walk though an actual stable and barn and learn how a typical farm was managed in those days. The old tools show evidence of the heavy and exhausting work.
Business hours are Wednesday to Sunday, 2:30pm - 5pm.
Museum tours:
Self guided tour: free of charge, though we appreciate donations.
Guided tour (individuals): 4 Leu per person, by appointment
Guided tour (groups of 10 people or more): fee, even outside the opening hours. Please book at least 3 days in advance.
